I hope everyone is enjoying this lovely summer….despite the continuing bad news coming out of Springfield regarding the budget crisis in IL.  SUAA and our local chapter, ECCP3, are working very hard on our behalf, BUT,

We need everyone to be involved

LEGISLATIVE COMMITTEE is still looking for members.  The Committee will be calling on as many candidates for State Rep and Senator as they can and they need help. If you are interested in helping with that very important effort, please contact Tom Youngren (Youngren@sbcglobal.net) and let him know what dates you can NOT meet with legislators/candidates

BE ON THE ALERT for a questionnaire coming to all members from SUAAction asking about our legislative priorities. When you receive it, PLEASE complete it and return it. These will be individual responses, not a chapter response, so we need you to participate if our voice is to be heard

JULY 21, SUAA REGIONAL MEETING, College of Dupage

Rick Green, Susan Spengler-Abell, and Tom Youngren will attend

Meeting will be a “working” meeting and the focus will be on building membership and political action. If you are interested in becoming more involved with either of those activities and would like to participate in this meeting, please contact

Rick, rgreen426@att.net ,

Susan  susansa@sbcglobal.net

or Tom youngren@sbcglobal.net
